Disk cleanup

Disk cleanup is an excellent way to remove unnecessary files and reclaim free space on your hard drive.






Windows 7:

Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Disk Cleanup.

Select the drive you wish to clean and click OK.

The Disk Cleanup tool will analyze what files can be removed.

Select the files you want to remove and click OK.

Windows 8:

Click Start and type a search for Disk Cleanup, select Free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files.

Select the drive you wish to clean and click OK.
