The following article will guide you through the steps necessary to change the default color a printer uses when printing.
Note: The printer preferences menu may be different depending on the model of your printer/copier.
Windows 7:
Click on the Start button.
Select Devices and Printers on the right hand side of the start menu.
Under Printers right click on your printer and select Printing Preferences.
Select the Paper/Quality tab.
Under Color select either Black and White or Color.
Click Apply.
Windows 8:
Open File Explorer.
Select This PC in the side bar.
Select Open Control Panel.
Under Hardware and Sound select View devices and printer.
Under Printers right click on your printer and select printing preferences.
Click on the Paper/Quality tab.
Under Color select either Black and White or Color.
Click Apply.
