E-mail viruses

E-mail is one of the most common sources of virus infection. Computer viruses commonly target an infected user’s address book as an easy way to propogate. Within the past year, 34% of all incoming mail was found to contain a virus.

While desktop antivirus programs are an important part of any machine running Windows, they are not always updated frequently enough, and may not catch every virus.

We run a virus-scanning mechanism which updates continuously, and blocks all incoming viruses before they make it to your Inbox. This service is included for all E-mail accounts we host.
